Left foot in Asia, right foot in Europe

In the center of the bridge over the Ural river in Atyrau, connecting Europe with Asia

Yes this is possible, and I encountered this possibility just by chance. I was in Atyrau in Western Kazakhstan. This city is divided by the Ural river which is said to be the “border” between Europe and Asia.  You just need to stand in the very middle of the bridge that connects both sides, and this is what I did.

On the European side close to the bridge, I passed this little reminder that you are in Europe
